I am aware that my parents do not expect me to engage in sexual intercourse until I am married, although, I do not agree with this view I do respect it and will not disappoint them. Personally, I believe that it’s okay to engage into sexual intercourse with both partners are in love because it’s not necessary that there be love in a marriage. I have witnessed many married couples who are no longer in love but choose to remain in a loveless marriage due to obligations and for this reason I hold my view. Although I do not have any sexual experience, I am fully aware of how sexual activities are conducted and am also aware of the importance of them; sex is part of life and it’s also a human need. I do not lack knowledge in the sexual part of life, I have always been a good student and majority of the knowledge I’ve acquired in this field came from the textbooks, my teachers and professors, and also from my current occupation. I am aware of both the good thing s and also the bad things that can come along with sexual activities; I am well aware of how pleasurable it can be and also about the possibility of acquiring STD’s.
